Why do we baptize infants but other Christians do not? Why do we pour a little water on people but other Christians insist that a person must be immersed? Why do we always have baptisms during worship? Why do we have baptism sponsors and what should they do?
These and many other questions will be talked about in a congregational forum on February 3rd, 10th, and 17th. We will get together in the Fellowship Hall at 9 a.m. those three days to learn about baptism and to talk about what we believe.
Everyone who is in the 6th grade and older is encouraged to attend. This forum would be especially good for those who are considering becoming members of First Lutheran Church, since it will cover some of the basics of what we believe.
