First Lutheran Church is seeking applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant assists the pastor and other church leaders with carrying out various administrative, clerical, and office tasks that support the ministry and mission of First Lutheran.
This is a part time position of approximately 25 hours a week. Exact hours and schedule are flexible and will be worked out with whomever is hired.
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent interpersonal skills, maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, and have strong organizational skills. It is also essential that they are self-motivated and can prioritize and manage their time as they will often work independently.
Much of the work involves producing and publishing newsletters, bulletins and other documents, so a proficiency with word processing is a must. They must also be proficient with email and keeping multiple
calendars organized and up to date.
